ABOUT MANENBERG 

We always hear about companies "Giving Back" to the community, handing out food parcels, vouchers, toiletries, etc. but you never see them giving back in a community like Manenberg which is one of the most poverty-stricken and underprivileged communities of Cape Town in desperate need of help and support. Manenberg, one of the townships in the Cape Flats, its a hotspot for gang violence, drug and alcohol abuse, rape, unemployment and poverty. Half of the young generation have not finished school due to lack of income, food, clothing, toiletries, and so much more things that all plays a part in everyday life and these children forced to drop out of school to roam the streets and find ways to make money for their household, and therefore have no possibility of finding a decent job, so they end up joining gangs from the age of 9 yrs old.
